5) What are the fees to be paid?
6) Can I have some useful information about coming and living in Pavia (visa, accommodation…)?
You can have an academic evaluation of your titles by writing in English to the course coordinator (email@example.com). You should provide (in English) a detailed list of the courses taken at your university and the number of hours of study acquired for each course. You should also attach this Excel file, completed with all the exams from the transcript, divided and grouped by different subject areas (already specified in the file).
Italian is not necessary for the course, as lectures and all related activities are in English. However, it would be advantageous to have some knowledge of Italian for your daily life in Italy.
5 ECTS in the English Language are required. Otherwise, you should provide an international certification attesting a knowledge equal or higher than the B2 level of the Common European Framework (First Certificate in English). For example, a TOEFL certificate with an iBT total score of B2 level (87-109) or higher is considered equal to the level B2 of the Common European Framework. If you do not hold an international certification you will have your English level tested with an interview.
Students holding an Italian qualification failing to reach the minimum entry requirements must pass an admission test with the Admission Committe, which nomrally takes place in September. A second possibility to take an admission test and then join the course takes place in February. Students holding a foreign degree have to follow a different procedure: they have to apply on-line and then pass an interview via skype.
